    Classic Coat Sewing Pattern

The classic coat PDF sewing pattern is a classic wool coat with lapel, two front buttons, a rounded lapel, welt or patch pockets, and two-piece sleeves. The coat has a lining, and there is room for a sweater under the coat. The length is just above the knees.

    The pattern  sizes 0-16 / 30-46

    Only left in stock

    Skill level 4/4

Sewing a wool coat requires an advanced set of sewing skills, and you will both need to work a lot with your iron and be comfortable sewing a little by hand. Also, you need a good quality of interfacing that works great with your chosen fabric.

    Fabric and notions

Make your classic coat sewing pattern with medium to heavyweight woven wool or wool blend fabric and interfacing appropriately with the material. Choose a delicate slippery satin lining.
