Bralette great for using up scraps

This is a great pattern, and sizing rings true to chart. Managed to get some Y fold elastic for the band which really gives a clean finish.

    easy bralette

for an easy entry into underwear, this was a great pattern. no mods on the first wearable toile, and it fits very well! It's a great way to use up the small pieces of left over knit/swim/lycra fabrics.
the only thing I need to figure out is how to get the front seam to sit nice and flat, so it doesn't show through when wearing a t-shirt.

Great intro to bra-making results in a useful bra!

Lovely pattern, fairly simple to put together for someone with sewing experience who has never made a bra before. Could do with some extra detail and explanation in the instructions just to make the construction clearer for those with limited sewing background (eg. self-taught sewists). I love that the end result is a comfortable, supportive, pointy-nipple-flattening everyday bra. I used View A and included power mesh in between the outer fabric and lining. I can wear it with ease under most outfits (I don’t wear super-low-cut tops anyway). I did have trouble getting the cup seams to lie flat, but now I have that figured out I’ll be making this pattern again and again 😁

    Very nice!

I started making a couple bras with a free sports bra pattern, but I wanted something prettier and more lifting. This is great! My first go turned out...ok but needed some alterations. I also changed the elastic and seams, to hide it all and make it mostly seamless. But the second go it was basically perfect! Super comfortable, supportive, and pretty. Love being able to customize my bras for comfort and picking cute fabric patterns. I will be making a drawer full of these for sure, I am happy with my purchase! To be fair, the only negative is the seams on the cup show through my shirts, but I can still live with that for how amazing the rest of it is.

    Was hesitant but….

This bra is the most comfortable of any bra I’ve worn. I used 1.5” elastic for the straps and the band and I love the comfort! I’ll be making more.
