Very easy sew - loved the no cutting A4 pattern

I will start with the A4 pattern: I am in love. The no-cutting print at home is awesome. There was clearly some extra thinking on how to position the pieces to avoid having weird position between the A4 pages. This is now what I'll consider a good "print at home pattern". All of the others that are juste splitting their projector files are bad.

Now on the sweater: it is simple, the tutorial is easy to sew, the sizing is great. It was my first time with thicker knit and I loved it.
I will sew it again !

Second go - even more pleased!!

My second go with htis pattern proved even better. I went for a fleece fabric, non stretchy. I made the bode the same as my previous version but without pockets. The hem was serged then turned up once with a patterned stitch. I measured the sleeves on another well fitting sweatshirt and extended the pattern to suit, again with a serged and turned up hem. Very pleased.

    Very flexible design.

I fancied a go at this sweatshirt but didn't want the ribbed cuff and hemband. A query on this subject to Christina was answered virtually immediatley and confirmed I could do what I thought. I extended the body (front and back) patterns as I am a long fellow and proceeded. The sweatshirt fabric I bought contained 5% elastane and was a bit stretchy for my liking but I continued and found the instructions and video invaluable. Part way through I decided to go for a sleeveless design and this was easily accommodated. Very pleased with the finished article, though I intend to make another from less stretchy (preferably no stretch) fabric. Sizong, apart from the length, was bang on.
