A pattern that does what is says! I’ve made a pair of black trousers for my daughter, great fit and easy to follow instructions. Even managed to put the zip in first time. Pattern try to sizing - wonderful.

They look great inside and out!

Bottoms, that's what I need so I was excited for the chance to make these pants. Christina's pattern always turn out wonderful and these are no exception! I did have to shorten since I'm only 5' 2", but the lengthen/shorten lines make it easy. I don't usually make pants with so much detail like belt loops, topstitched side seams, and binding on the inside waistband but Wow, what a professional finish it gives the pants! I can hardly believe I made these myself! Now if the weather would just cool down, I could wear them! lol

Outcome: The pants look fabulous on me!! I love them and after making it I wanted to wear it for my interview the next day.

Work: I am an intermediate sewist and had to read the instructions twice--definitely label fabric pieces as stated in the instructions--that was a mistake I made. Whoops! I learned my lesson on that!

Sizing: I am a size 0 and the pants fit perfect. I did have to take out two inches from the knee area and the thigh area for my 4'11" height and by doing so, the length was also perfect. The pants are also high waist style (I did not shorten the rise) on me which I love because it accentuates the smallest part of the body.

I'll be making more this weekend! And eventually a pair of semi-stretchy jeans. :)

My first pair..won't be my last!

Before this pattern, I had never made woven pants. I jumped at the chance of testing these as I hoped to learn the pant making skills along the way. Pattern walked me through all the steps with ease. I really appreciate the professional finish of the pants and also the pattern instructions. The front zippered fly, slant pockets, bias tape finishing of the waistband, and the loops are all details I really like about this pattern. It is a very well written and well fitting pattern.

    Loving my pants

The Slim Fit Pants are a must-have for casual and professional wear. The pockets are personally my favorite part of these pants. The illustrations are very detailed and helpful as you follow the steps to the end. The pattern features slanted pockets, back darts for a slimming effect, and a belt loops which I feel really adds something different to the pattern.
