A classic pair of fitted underwear with a back comfort panel and exposed elastic at the waistline. You can make the boxer briefs with a double front lined crotch (view A) or an open fly (view B). Make your Boxer Brief sewing pattern with two inseam lengths hemmed or with bands.

Use light to medium-weight single jersey with stretch in cotton, bamboo, or Tencel.

Great pattern, however, as a couple of others have mentioned two short at the back. I am going to have to add in a couple of inches to make them wearable for my husband.
The briefs look good and are comfortable. I used a light bamboo jersey. I would only add that they seemed a bit low on the body and l thought I might add a cm or 2 to the top of the shorts. But my husband likes them.
This is a great pattern - really quick and easy to sew and the fit is perfect and very comfortable to wear.
Easy sew and good fit.
Having plenty of "left-over" stretch fabrics this pattern really comes in handy!
Using serger, and coverstitch, only is super for elastics and stretch fabrics.
Toppstitching with narrow coverstitch. Super comfort. Just the way I want! (View A only)
