You need 30" or 75 cm of soft jersey fabric with 25-50% horizontal stretch. Additionally, you need a sewing machine or serger. You need to sew with a stretch seam. If you want to make a scarf with two different fabrics you need 15.5" or 38.5 cm of each fabric, but in the widths in the chart.

Choose the correct size based on head circumference. Choose a size that is close to the measurement listed under sizes.

Size S M L
  Imperial 30" X 20" 22" 24"
  Metric 75 cm X 51 cm 56 cm 61 cm

Fold and sew the long edge of the fabric together RSF and sew them together. If you are making your scarf in two materials, start by sewing the two together RSF, to create one piece.

I love the idea of the scarf, but am a little bit confused about the instructions.
Could you please post a photo that shows the measurements marked on the fabric too ?
    TIA

Sorry I’m confused with the instructions. For the fabric in a large I need a piece 30" long and 24" wide stretch on the 30"?
