I was searching for a boxy cut French workmen or utility jacket pattern, but I didn’t want all the fuss with loads of pockets, et cetera so I use this pattern and made it from canvas Fabric and I absolutely love it. I’ve worn it constantly since I made it. I did a toile in medium weight cotton Fabric and I thought I was just making it to see how the pattern came together but it turns out I love it as well and wear it all the time!

I love this pattern. So easy to follow along. I've made to Raglan shirts from this pattern.

This was an easy make and turned out perfectly. Had a nice professional finish to it.

I love it! The instructions are well written, thorough, and easy to follow. I made it in an Indian block print, dark blue with small flowers and it’s gorgeous!

I'm a new-ish sewer so I appreciate all the step by step instructions and the online videos. I made the Jensen shirt and am now working on the heavy shirt pattern. Great basic pieces for men.

Awesome pattern! I think it turned out great! I had never made a pattern like this before so I struggled a bit with the collar and the ribbing but the video helped a ton.

Really enjoyed making this! The instructions are thorough and when taking your time to carefully follow the steps, I think even beginners can easily make this. The finish of the collar is very clean. Definitely recommend it and will be making more, for myself and family. If you don't mind the boxy fit, of works well for women too!

The pattern was really well written and illustrated, as per other WbM patterns I've used. Sizing is spot on and the fit is perfect. I'm really pleased with the finished shirt, and I'll be making more!

Iam very happy with this pattern! I made two waistcoats, one in 10 and one size up in 12. I love the boxy, oversized look. The facings were a bit tricky for me, but it came out beautiful!

I am happy with the pattern, having made it up once so far. I have two more planned within the next few days. It was definitely easy and went together quickly and well. I wasn't sure about the boxy shape on me, but it's fine. I may lengthen it a little, just personal preference, and I will definitely round out the scoop neckline a little more, so that it sits better on my body.

This pattern turned out to be very precise. It was not easy to assemble, and although the instructions were a little bit minimalist, if you take your time to read each step, everything is there. By minimalist I mean that I would have appreciated if the instructions were broken down into a couple of extra steps, especially with regards to the zipper installation. That being said, I still rate this a 5-star experience because my piece turned out perfectly. Perhaps someone who has more sewing experience would have found the instructions sufficient. Nicole

I really enjoyed sewing this robe. It was simple and easy to follow the directions
I didn’t like the extra long belt loop on the back. I made it again but made it with flannel and longer. I also made proper belt loops and added a hanging hook. I love both robes.
