Another great pattern by WBM. Clear instructions and a video that I watched for the trickier sleeve lining insertion. Made in a denim with corduroy collar and facings, plus a quilted lining with extra interior pockets. Made a longer length. The sizing across the shoulders is spot on. The construction by pulling through the lining was great. Husband loves his jacket.

J'ai cousu cette marinière dans un jersey épais et peu extensible ( véritable jersey marinière français). Le résultat est superbe : très belle encolure et aisance parfaite , ni trop moulant ni trop large.

Cousu 4 fois dans 2 tailles différentes et avec des variations au niveau du col (capuche ou col). Coupe parfaite et modèle très facile à réaliser. Je recommande!!

What sets this pattern apart from other coat patterns that may have similar style lines is how artfully and well drafted the pattern is, and how the interior has a proper, faced lining where everything fits together like a glove, and the little, couture details (like a bias cut 2 piece shaped under collar that rolls the collar seams under). It's the details in the drafting that make this an exquisite coat. Each pattern piece fit together beautifully, and the coat is well balanced with solid instructions.

The couture details made me choose this pattern to sew as a gift in a fine herringbone 100% wool coating and a silk charmeuse lining. As this was a gift, I sewed this a size down from what would have been my size per the size chart, but I actually do like this sized down on myself. I'm 5'8", and the length proportions of the mockup actually fit me perfectly, including sleeves, but I did have to shorten the sleeves for my petite recipient.

Honestly, this was such a joy to sew thanks to the excellent drafting and competent instructions. I keep purchasing patterns from Wardrobe By Me because not only are the patterns well drafted, but the construction and interior finishing are always top notch.

This little tee is great in a knit or woven! Perfect stand alone in warm weather, or layering in cooler temps. Well drafted and quick!

I’m in the midst of sewing the City Dress pattern for a Christmas vibe in red linen. I’d love to add white top stitch but I just know that the white will turn pink eventually! So I’m experimenting with a white embroidery thread… we shall see.
It was a very straight forward sew. I just need to pop in the sleeves and do the top stitching. I’m very happy with the dress. Can’t wait to wear it. Casual enough with a little extra. 😁
