I haven't used the patterns because of the differences in sizing. My adult sons are a US size M and don't require any lengthening for height. Per your charts they will be between a M and L and will need patterns to be lengthened by several inches. I will have to do muslins. I wish I had paid more attention to the measurements before ordering.
I made my husband a tee using a pattern from another company - nothing but complaints! Then I tried the wardrobe by me men's classic tee and I have a happy camper. Good fit, looks good on him - what more can I say?
I purchased and downloaded the pattern.. I printed it on A4 paper. Took me a little time to work out how to tape it together, but once I had it was easy to do. The instructions for making the T-Shirt were easy to follow and it turned out great. I haven’t made a T-Shirt for years and was really happy with the result..
I've made two t-shirts with this pattern and as always, the directions are clear and precise. The t-shirt went together easily and quickly (despite my fear of sewing with knits!).
Unfortunately I'm not such a fan of the fit, it's definitely a baggier fit, with the shoulder seams falling off the shoulder, even when I went down a size. I prefer a t-shirt with a closer fit, not necessarily tight, but less roomy, with shoulder seams that lay over my shoulders (thereby giving the t-shirt more support).
But my teenage son, who has inherited the t-shirts, LOVES them so I guess I'll be making more!
My husband wears nothing but T-shirts during warm weather both at home and out casually. The ones I’ve made from this pattern are his favorites and he wants more. So far I’ve used solid cotton lycra fabrics and he loves how comfortable they are.
