      Love this skirt!

This was such a fun project with satisfying results. I had to add length the to waistband but other than that I was able to follow the instructions to the letter and ended up with a very cute skirt. The instructions were clearly written and easy to understand. I'm very happy with this pattern.

      Elastic waistband

I wish this skirt had an elastic waistband. Then I would love to sew it.

Loved it so much I made 2!

I made my first button up skirt using viscose, the longer length with no ruffle and side pockets. I found the instructions clear and it came together easily. My second one was using a chambray, this time I added the ruffle and front pockets, as well as the side pockets. Both have been worn in rotation since I made them!

Classic style and so much fun. I'll be wearing this skirt all summer and then will make a wool one for winter. Love the beautiful enclosed seams and straightforward construction. So easy to add your own personal style to a great base pattern!
