This was the first pair of pants I’ve ever made and I am absolutely blown away with how well they fit and feel without requiring any adjustments. These are my new favorite pants and I’m making another pair now. Highly recommend!🌟
This pattern makes up into a very professional looking shirt. Using the chest measurement as most important, I shortened the body by 2 inches to correspond to my husband’s height and added a bit of length to the sleeves. I used a summer weight linen and wanted a loose, breezy silhouette but not sloppy. It is perfect, The instructions are adequate & video backup is helpful. Highly recommended!,
I have wanted a plain white shirt for the longest time and I made the Boxy Shirt. Thousand beautiful pattern, with lovely details. The cuffs are my favourite. This is an item that I’ll be wearing over and over. I can’t wait to make a few more.
I made my first button up skirt using viscose, the longer length with no ruffle and side pockets. I found the instructions clear and it came together easily. My second one was using a chambray, this time I added the ruffle and front pockets, as well as the side pockets. Both have been worn in rotation since I made them!
This is such a comfortable and attractive t-shirt. I bought a nice knit and View A came together really well…. but I’ve found that every pattern I’ve made from WbM fits me perfectly….so I wasn’t surprised!
I’m getting ready to make this pattern along with the Sweatpants pattern into a great pair of pajamas/leisure wear. I haven’t found a bad fit with any of these patterns! They’re the only ones I buy now. Thanks!
Looking for an elegant, feminine dress that emphasizes your curves beautifully and is timeless? Then you just have to make the Marianne! The fit is sublime and the extensive manual guarantees you a perfect result. I will definitely make one, or two, or three…
I made this jacket in a chunky corduroy and it was perfect. Easy instructions and great fit. Its nice and roomy to layer under, especially in the sleeve area.Pockets are great to put things in when I go for a walk. I used a lighter fabric to line the inner yoke and outer collar for good looks.
I love this pattern.
I made these up in medium weight linen for the summer.
I omitted the cargo and rear welt pockets.
The size from the pattern fitted me just fine.
I thoroughly recommend this pattern....!
This is a great pattern for some great pants, I love them.
I made mine out of linen and the size was spot on. I am a 4o inch waist and I made up the 2XL size.
I will be making more. Next time I may hack the pattern and put in a zip fly from the shorts pattern from Wardrobe by Me.
I recommend everyone to give these a go, you won't be disappointed.
If you want to sew men's pants, this is your pattern. Depending on the fabric and the options you choose, you can get more formal pants or a more casual version. If you have doubts about how to sew the fly, WBM has a video tutorial that makes the process easier. the result will be pants with a perfect fit and suitable for the occasion you choose. I encourage you to do it, you won't regret it
This was my first structured pant pattern and my first time working with denim. I really appreciated the timestamped YouTube video of the Men’s version. I didn’t have to make a ton of adjustments but if quads and calves are your hot button this style is easy to make adjustments to. I used a midweight denim with 20% stretch and good recovery. It adds a wonderful amount of comfort without too much stretch. I’m extremely pleased with the result.
I have made both the blouse and a midi dress and I love them both. I have a feeling the dress will be my go to summer dress this year, I might even have to make a couple more ;) As for the blouse I love how effortlessly it elevates my casual style. The sewing process is also very rewarding with some fiddly bits regarding the gathers, got to love a good sewing pattern for wovens :)
I have never made adults jeans before sewing this and I looked upto it as a challenge..but thanks to WBM's fabulous drafting and clear and precise tutorial, the effort ended up with success..my husband was super impressed by the details and said it looks as good as a store bought one..it made my day 😊😊😊!!
This is a fabulous pattern that can help you produce a fantastic quality lined vest. The finish result looked stunning. It was really easy to follow and very detailed. The only bit I missed was that the lining and outer shoulder seams are staggered to avoid bulk. It does say this clearly but for some reason I missed it so couldn’t work out why they didn’t line up at first. Then, when I re-read, it was obvious that they aren’t supposed to. I am so happy with the vest I made and already have plans for four more! Thank you for this great pattern.
