Not up to WBM usual standards to be honest. The instructions are woefully inadequate. Lots of details missing like what bits need interfacing and which bits should be overlocked. The video helps but lack of audio is not great. This patterns instructions need to be reworked and be more clear. Normally WBM patterns are great. I have used many of them but this one seems to me just to be thrown together without much thought.

Great shorts

This is a great pattern. I made a pair for my husband. But I think I will add an actual waistband when I make the second pair. This will make them sit higher and I think they would fit better at the wait.

Maybe I was a little over confident with my first sewing project but......

The purchase and download of the PDF pattern went very smoothly. After printing the calibration page I printed the pattern and cut it out. So far so good. The video was very useful but didn't fully correspond with the written instructions so I had to flip between them and garner information from both sources. Maybe I should have gained more sewing experience before tackling these shorts but I found the zip and waistband particularly challenging so, although I have a lovely pair of fine looking shorts, they are a loose at the waist. I now need to ponder on the best way to get them to fit.

Nice shorts

Nice shorts. With the video quite easy to sew, although this was my first project with zipper and different types of pockets.
One disappointment- It was not that easy to identify the sizes. Maybe color pattern would help.
