You receive your PDF sewing patterns in a zipped file. Download and save it on your computer. Unzip the file, and the PDF sewingpattern is ready to use. Each PDF sewing  pattern contains an instruction booklet and a sewing pattern. You can print in format Letter or A4 paper. Most of the patterns also include an A0 paper option for large-scale printing as well as a separate file for projectors. Learn more about how to unzip

As soon as we receive your payment, we send a mail with a link to your sewing pattern(s). Look for mails from delivery@shopify.com

Paper patterns

Yes. We have created af collection of paper patterns carefully chosen amongst our best selling designs. You can buy them in both webshops and physical stores around the world. Have a look at our list of retailers.

Pattern contents

All patterns include a materials list with recommended fabrics, yardage chart, sizing chart, and illustrated step-by-step instructions. All pattern pieces are computer generated, and each size has a different legend. The pattern pieces include seam allowances.

What you get is the following:

Yes. There is seam allowance on all pattern pieces. Check the sewing guidelines section for the seam allowance for each pattern. Each pattern piece also indicates the amount of seam allowance included.

Most patterns come with a separate file for projecting the pattern, which includes features like thick lines, layers, left and right pattern pieces, only whole (not cut-on-fold) pattern pieces, metric and imperial grids, and dark and light backgrounds. Before purchasing a pattern, make sure to check the pattern description to ensure that the pattern you like includes a projector file. See all the patterns with projector files here.

Intellectual properties

No, the patterns are for personal use only.

You are permitted to sell items that have been created using Wardrobe By Me patterns, as long as they have been made by your own sewing. However, it is strictly prohibited to use these patterns for the purpose of mass production, where multiple garments are created by someone else for wholesale or retail purposes.

No. The patterns are for print only. The patterns are password protected PDF files and can not be edited. The intelectual property of all patterns belongs to Wardrobe By Me ApS.

Other questions

The patterns are all tested before we release them for sale. The testers come from different backgrounds and have different levels of sewing experience. All images on the website are of "real" men and women who have sewn their garments. If you would like to share your make, you can do so in our sewing support group on Facebook.

Measure your chest at the fullest point, your waist two fingers above your belly button, and your hips a the fullest part of hip and rear. Find the corresponding measurements in the measurement chart included in the pattern. If you are making a top, you should focus on the chest measurement to find your size. If you are making pants, focus on the waist and hip measurement.
