    My Favourite T-Shirt Pattern

I have to say that this is, without a doubt, my favourite T-shirt pattern!

I bought it quite a while ago, before I knew all that much about fitting. However, as I continued to experiment with the pattern, I was able to tweak it to fit me extremely well. I have a short torso, so took about 2" from the bodice, graded from a size 10 bodice to a size 12 in the shoulders and arms, and did a full-bicep adjustment on the sleeves to add an extra 1/2" of width, as I find most modern patterns are drafted for slim arms.

However, having done all that, I've been able to use it to create a few shirts which I love. I find stretch-fabric can be hard to come by secondhand, but since I have recently found more I intend to whip up a few more versions. I've also now used this pattern to check and help better fit other stretch fabric sewing patterns because I've made it to fit me exactly the way I like T-shirts to.

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I also have a full pattern review up on my blog: https://stitchsessions.org/2022/07/01/comfortable-shirts-with-the-wardrobe-builder-t-shirt/

A must-have for your pattern library!

I've made so many of these! The cut is really flattering and the instructions are very clear, making it a breeze to whip up. It's also so fun to mix and match the different variations, so much versatility for one little pattern. I've also done a modification to make a simple cardigan that came out great.

    Love it

I've been looking for a plus size t-shirt pattern for some time. This one is great it has so many options. I've made the boat neckline with elbow length sleeves and I used the shaped hemline to distract from my hips! It's my favourite top right now!

    Great Pattern

I love how versatile this pattern is, I was able to make the combination I wanted for an autumn 3/4 length sleeve, I've also made one for my friend too. I can see me using this pattern multiple times and using all the combinations throughout the sewing year!
