Beautiful dress!

I must say, this is a wonderful pattern and though I had some troubles with putting together the pattern pieces, not all the lines matched perfectly, I now own a beautiful dress made by me.

Versatile design, easy to sew

I made View A shortened to knee length in a soft rayon that worked well with the gathers and flowy design. I was between sizes so I sized up and I'm glad I did as it's not a generous fit. I'm short waisted so I knew the V neck would be too deep on me. As the neck facing design was too fiddly to adjust I did away with it and cut out standard front and back neck facings which worked well. I also took about two inches off the length of the bodice. I used elastic in the casing and attached cords with tassels to the elastic to tie in front. Overall, I'm really happy with the result and look forward to wearing it and making it again.
