      Excellent staple pattern!

Great pattern with clear and straight forward instructions. Despite the boxy fit the pattern still runs rather on the small side. My husband usually wears sizes S-M, but here I had to go for a size L but reducing the width of the body and shoulders while maintaining the length, sleeve size and collar/neck proportions. Depending on fabric I would also leave out the interfacing on woven fabrics so that the boxy/relaxed look and feel is maintained also in the collar (I used a linen shirting fabric).
For jersey/knit fabrics I also recommend this pattern, but in that case reducing the width by another cm or two. Overall very happy, 10/10, this is already a new summer staple!

Super nice design, kinda small in size

Super nice design and easy enough to follow along. Will make it again but I'm usually a European small and sewing a small made it to tight to look good.

The pattern has 8' / 20 cm ease in the chest so if you choose size based on body measurements there is plenty ease in the fit.
      Kind regards WBM/ Christina

      Woven polo

I really like the finished shirt but I don’t think I would have managed it without the video tutorial as the instructions confused me around the construction of the placket. I sized down one size because I didn’t believe my husband would be a 4xl as he is a 2 xl in ready to wear but I should have stayed with 4xl and added at least three inches to the length. Unfortunately my toile is unwearable because it came out so short. I will definitely make another.

excellent guidance notes to a professional finish

The pattern was easy to download, join together and use. The sizing was perfect and the polo shirt look very good once finished. One pleased husband!
