    Anna Shirt sewing pattern

    Anna Shirt PDF sewing pattern

The Anna Shirt is a true closet staple. This classic, relaxed-fit shirt has all the details that a traditional button-up needs - a standard button placket, chest pockets, classic cuffed sleeves, and even a back yoke. The relaxed, effortlessly chic feel of the shirt is accentuated by the curved hem that is slightly longer in the back. You can make the Anna Shirt your own by choosing between a straight or pleated back, long or short sleeves, and one of 3 different collar options: a pointed collar, curved collar, or band collar.

    US 0-24 & EU 30-54. Height 5'6", 172 cm

    colour blocked Anna shirt

As always Wardrobe by Me came up with a great pattern ending in a great classic fitted shirt.

I had to play with only 1 meter of fabric and used some contrast fabric to make my version.

Used green-brown fabric with a flannel structure and black fabric with a cotton structure. Finished the hem with bias tape binding.

Don't be put off making this Anna shirt. Christina Albeck shows in a video how to sew this shirt together. So this shirt is even possible to make for a confident beginner.

Looking forward to make a version with short sleeves for Spring and Summer.

    Good shirt pattern

I enjoyed sewing my Anna shirt, and will use the pattern for all my shirts. I found the youtube video helpful.

Love it, but instructions could be better

Love the pattern and the versatility of it! Would love for more sleeve options, especially a bishop sleeve. Instructions are a bit vague and there’s a few typos in there (not the grammar police or anything, but quality lies in the details) I couldn’t have completed it if it wasn’t for the video tutorials.

    Lovely Classic Style

I have made 3 versions of this shirt now - long sleeve, short sleeve, collared and non collared. It is now my favourite go to pattern for a classic shirt to wear with jeans as there are so many variations that could be made in lots of different fabrics.

Nobody believed it was home made

The Anna Shirt is a great classic shirt that will surely become a staple in your closet! I made mine in a pinstriped oxford cotton shirting and no one could tell that it was not store bought...
