            Fantastic shirt

My husband is 6’4”, size 4X. This shirt is the first one that fits him perfectly. I had to lengthen 2”, and changed it to a regular shirttail.

            Just the pattern needed!

I was looking to make my son a denim clean-cut shacket and your pattern fit the bill perfectly! I made a few changes; added a zipper, welt pockets but no breast pocket, snap cuff, and tada! Just the right jacket for him!

            Great Pattern

I'm making this overshirt for my husband. I had to slightly adjust the shoulder and length (sleeve and body), but overall fit is pretty spot on! Instructions are easy to follow, and you end up with a well made, good-looking shirt! I am making him 2, out of different fabrics, for different looks - a heavy canvas twill and a brushed wool.

            Simple construction

I made a wearable toile b4 cutting good cotton fabric chosen by the future wearer. It's a simple to construct pattern with an easy method to create the sleeve slits and with an impressive outcome, On both my makes I ended up with an unfinished 1 cm long area at the top of the sleeve slit, so I zigzagged it to prevent fraying. No problem at all. The other area I found fiddly was where the collar seam joins the front facing : couldnt quite get a neat right angle where the neck seam changes from downward facing to upward. I'm sure this was due to my interpretation of instructions and they didn't affect my pride in the finished shirts. Will make more.

            Overshirt

Couldn’t finish it fast enough for my son to wear. He loved it. Made in a dark green cord. Was a quick and easy sew. Fit was generally perfect, will just add a little more length in the body when I make the next one.
Instructions were clear and easy to follow.
