Great pattern

I made view B with no alterations. This gave me full coverage at the back and came to my waist. They are the most comfortable underpants I have ever made. They don’t creep up on the legs and they don’t roll down at the waist and the crotch is the right width for me. I love hem and this pattern is my new go to underpants pattern.

Most comfy underwear ever!!

Great pattern and the fit is perfect! I am replacing all of my underwear with these. I made view B with fabric bands and medium rise and love that there is no elastic to dig into my legs. The you tube video is very helpful and gave me the confidence to try it. The pattern states 3-5% Lycra but on some pairs I only had 2% Lycra and it works but doesn’t hold its shape through the day as well as 5% so in the future I will only use 5% Lycra. The pattern size for my waist was larger than the hip size but I used the hip size as recommended and the fit is great. I love wearing something hand sewn everyday.

Very useful and fun!

I only started sewing with knit fabrics a few months ago, and I've dived head over heels into making underwear. This pattern was among the first ones I came across, and it has become one of my go-to ones. I love the quick and simple construction, and in my opinion the gusset is just perfect. Very flat, just like in RTW ones, and I sew it with a wide and short zigzag stitch centred on the edge, so that it doesn't fray. I have several other patterns with fully enclosed gusset seams, but I'm actually not a fan of that method, it takes a lot longer to put together and it is bulky, especially at the side edges, and can chafe when worn with tight-fitting athletic clothes. The fit of this one is perfect for me.
