Maybe I was a little over confident with my first sewing project but......

The purchase and download of the PDF pattern went very smoothly. After printing the calibration page I printed the pattern and cut it out. So far so good. The video was very useful but didn't fully correspond with the written instructions so I had to flip between them and garner information from both sources. Maybe I should have gained more sewing experience before tackling these shorts but I found the zip and waistband particularly challenging so, although I have a lovely pair of fine looking shorts, they are a loose at the waist. I now need to ponder on the best way to get them to fit.

            Nice shorts

Nice shorts. With the video quite easy to sew, although this was my first project with zipper and different types of pockets.
One disappointment- It was not that easy to identify the sizes. Maybe color pattern would help.

            Great shorts...!

            I love this pattern.
I made these up in medium weight linen for the summer.
I omitted the cargo and rear welt pockets.
The size from the pattern fitted me just fine.
            I thoroughly recommend this pattern....!
