Fly instructions confusing, YouTube not clear either, not sure what I did wrong but fudged it in the end.
I have made these pants a few times now. I used a thin cotton weave once to test the pattern. The next times, I hacked the pattern to make them pull-up with an elasticize waistband and drawstring in a polyester fleece and then used a French terry in cotton. They are super comfortable for my husband (and I I have stolen them to wear myself a few times too)
Made these for a trip to Mexico for when i needed pants but also wanted to keep cool in the tropical climate. I used Linen and they turned out perfect!
I thought they turned out great. They fit my son great. I especially liked the front pockets. I was lucky enough to have some great tencel pants weight fabric that sewed up great. I will make some more. I think they’d be great in linen but I know my son won’t iron them…..have to find something similar
