Great tracksuit when combined with sweatpants

My granddaughter is just ending 2 weeks spring holiday here in France. This jacket with a stripe combined with the sweatpants with a stripe, makes such a smart inexpensive tracksuit for her swimming training. Brilliant patterns, both of them.

      A satisfying sew!

I’m really happy with this pattern: downloaded yesterday and only have the zip to insert now. I’ve made exactly the version in the main photograph for the pattern: so a contrast strip up the sleeves and the under collar: grey main parts: black ribbing cuffs and bottom and black zip. It’s so successful I’ve bought the jogging trouser pattern and my granddaughter will have a great tracksuit - the same contrast strip will go down the trouser legs.
      Love it.

      So proud of this!

I made my version with a fabric I never used and there is a zip so I definitely had a knot in my stomach… Forget all about this: this pattern is a walk in the park. Just do what Christina tells you to do, you will be more than fine.
So many ways to play with contrast and different fabrics: that is the hardest part, to decide what you want. Once that is sorted out you go for it!
