I have just finished the men's Tunic for my husband. I adapted the pattern to make a pyjama top. I omitted the buttons and buttonholes after shortening the placket. It looks nice on him. He has still to wear it. The video was very helpful. I think I will make another in linen. Very pleased.
Such an easy, satisfying sew...I made 2 in one week! The instructions are really easy to follow. I think even a beginner sewer will be able to sew this pattern.
I made View A with View B sleeves. The second time around I made a centre front seam, omitted the collar and placket and finished the neckline and front opening with binding...and instead of buttonholes I made loop buttonholes. My hubby loves his tunic!!!
My 10 year old is right in between kids and men’s sizes…he’s really tall, too. He wanted this style shirt and this pattern fit the bill. I made an xsmall graded to a small at the hip, with short sleeves, and it fits well. I appreciate the range of sizes WBM offers; It’s great to buy patterns with sizes that will be useful more than once, versus buying a kid pattern that he’s already the largest size for. I will definitely buy more WBM patterns as the directions were clear, and the pattern pieces fit together perfectly. Highly recommend.
Bonjour, je n'ai toujours pas reçu le patron commandé alors que l'article a été payé. Je vous prie de faire le nécessaire pour régler ce contretemps.

I was so pleased with my first shirt that I have made several shirts since! There aren't a lot of shirt or coat patterns around that have my chest size within the size range, so I was thrilled that didn't have to do any wonky modifications to the base pattern. The PDF being formatted in layers in brilliant and allowed me to print the pattern using my size only, and not have a lot of distracting other sizes cluttering the printout.
The placard and sleeve tie are a little fiddly, so the pattern is best for light woven fabrics. The pattern is simple enough that you can easily make modifications (like the short sleeved version I made in a colorful fabric). I found for the larger sizes, it was good to move down the position of the button tab piece that sits on the sleeves. I felt its original position was a tad high and made the sleeves too short when buttoned.
The directions are extremely thorough
I also love that there are variations built into the pattern and I plan on making several of both sleeve and tail types in any fun fabric I come across!
