        My favourite tunic pattern

So far I have made 2 versions of this lovely tunic. The collar and neck are such a smart design and give interest to the tunic.

I made one version in sturdy cotton and another in a very floaty lightweight cotton from an old sari, and both worked so well.

This is my favorite tunic for work! Dressy and comfortable.
The pattern is well done, but actually beyond my skill level.
However, Wardrobe by me has done a video (link below pattern on their page) and when I ran into trouble, I posted pictures on Wardrobe by me facebook page and was given instruction that I followed and I’m so pleased with the result.
        Will be making more!

I think is a great project very practic to use day to day. Nice, confy, elegant and not difficult to sew. So brilliant!

        Love it

I wear a lot of Vince tops who cost around $400!
This is exactly the same thing. Tutorial really helps. Only thing I would do differently is to add very light facing. Maybe it was said, but didn’t read thoroughly.

        Really is the Perfect Tunic!

I recently made this Tunic (view A) using cotton jersey for the main body of the top and woven poplin cotton for the placket, collar and sleeve tabs.
The pattern pieces came together so well and the placket construction was made so easy with the help from the instructional video; I had the video playing on my phone as I stitched so I could rewind back to steps I was unsure of.
All in all the Tunic is so comfortable and a beautiful fit. I showed my mum and she now wants one too!
