Another excellent pattern and great advice

I bought the polo pattern not intending at this stage to make a traditional jersey polo shirt. I wanted to make a more typical short-sleeved shirt in a woven cotton fabric with a polo placket. With some encouragement I combined pattern pieces from the Tropical Shirt including the yoke, with the placket and collar from the polo. I also extended the placket and sewed it on with the right on outside and left inside the shirt. In my mock up the sleeves were a little short so I took the Jensen Shirt sleeve and copied the top from the Tropical Shirt sleeve to fit the armscye. All in all the experiment was a success!

I am a beginner when it comes to pattern editing/creating but I found with a bit of care and thought it is rewarding, and easy to mix and match with wardrobe by me's patterns.

        Great polo shirt pattern

Pattern was very easy to use and follow along with. The accompanying YouTube video is fantastic for less experienced folk to see how it all comes together.

        Perfect for my needs

Having a tall, larger husband can make clothes buying somewhat of problem as can buying patterns for his size . This polo shirt pattern is perfect - may become a staple of his summer wardrobe!
