Wanting a SUPER easy make and not keen on any of the patterns in my stash I was delighted to find this 3 piece pattern (if you don't make the woven and don't add sleeves, it's 3 pieces!) The no-trim PDF was new to me and a bit of fiddling ensued, but it wasn't difficult to put together. I made my standard adjustments for length (short waisted) and forward shoulder (I hunch.) Where the real magic came through was in the sewing. I used my serger and sewed shoulder seam, side seam, shoulder seam, side seam. Attached the neckband and... well, done! The hems were done with a lightning stitch on my trusty Janome and I had a new tee in less time than it took me to cut it out. In fact, now that I think about it, the cutting out took me less time than taping the pattern together! FANTASTIC speed! I already have my next fabric ready to go! Unfortunately, I can't really comment on the instructions because, although I did read through them, I didn't actually use them as I've made many t-shirts before and I just went with Ye Olde Tried and Trusted method. They seemed very comprehensive and useful in the read through, but I didn't pay a huge mind - sorry! This tee is so easy, I'm sure you can make it work with just the basic sewing skills. Go for it, and flaunt your makes!

I love the patterns

This jacket was so easy to put together with the video tutorial. And it's so stylish. Perfect for Autumn weather.

I had some nice non stretch denim in my stash, and wanted to make a pair of jeans. I came across this pattern, and decided to give it a try. I always have to do a tummy alteration on any pants pattern I make, and it was easy with this pattern. I did encounter a problem with the topstitching guide not reaching the full fly on the inside, but I was able to make a guide to fit. The jeans are comfortable, they look professional, and they were pretty easy to sew up.

Loved the sewalong

I made the High waisted pants with a drawstring out of some well-washed dupioni silk. I simplified the front by removing the false fly feature. The pants were easy to make and they look cute with the high paperbag waist. Just what I was looking for.

Bought this pattern to make some basic “comfy” shorts for my boys. I’ve made a couple of pairs for my 14 y o which came out perfectly. One pair in French Terry and one pair in a woven fabric which look a bit smarter. Both very comfortable apparently. Next will be making a couple of sizes up for my 20 yo and another couple of sizes up for my husband! Very happy with this pattern.

So far, in the 3 weeks since I bought The Perfect Tunic pattern, I've sewed up two of them....and I'm sure I'll make more. I sew each pattern multiple times. WBM patterns always fit me well, their instructions are very easy to follow and I love the easy way the pattern itself goes together....no cutting, just taping! Beautiful!

I chose the long version with the middle neckline. I love the relaxed fit and will definitely sew a shorter one as well.

I had not sew clothing for years and bought your pattern as I had a stash of double gauze. It’s a wonderful fit and perfect for warm weather. I’m going to start another one soon!

I love my vest. It fits me like a glove. I had a few challenges, but I was able to work through them and figure it out. I’ve gotten many compliments as people generally don’t wear vest, so when a guy does wear one, we get noticed. I bought some fabric the other day to make another one.

I am a fairly decent quilter and have attempted to make several clothing items through the years. The instructions for this painter’s jacket were clearly written and easy to follow. I made a jacket from linen in 5 hours, excluding buttonholes and adding buttons. I have a basic sewing machine and only used three different stitches to construct the whole jacket. I’ll be making more of these for gifts!

I was looking for a boyfriend style sweatshirt for ages and this one is awesome.
